Randomly change the MAC address and Host Name



MadMACs, whose name makes us remember Mel Gibson's famous film is a tool that lets you randomly change a MAC's address and your computer's host name.

Because the information that is stored on the DHCP server does not appear on the MAC´s true address but on the fictitious one, it makes this application a very useful tool for maintaining privacy on a local network.

This tool is very easy to use, and it is sufficient to indicate the prefix of the address that you are using. You may access a list of manufactures by going to the following addresses: aquí.
MadMacs can modify the addresses belonging to any network device, either wireless or Ethernet.

For MadMacs to generate a random host name just include a file called dic.txt in the directory where the program is located. The application comes with an example.
